Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
1/2 cup bread crumbs
1 egg
1 onion, grated
2 garlic cloves, minced
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
2 cups beef broth
1 packet onion soup mix
2 tbsp cornstarch
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
In a large bowl, combine ground beef, bread crumbs, egg, grated onion, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until evenly incorporated.
Shape the mixture into 1 1/2-inch meatballs.
In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the meatballs on all sides, then transfer them to the slow cooker.
Add minced garlic, beef broth, and the onion soup mix to the slow cooker. Stir gently to combine with the meatballs.
Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
About 30 minutes before serving, mix cornstarch with a little water to make a slurry, add to the slow cooker, stir and let it thicken.
